KETO WITH INTERMITTENT FASTING

What is keto?
Keto Diet is a low-carb, high-fat and medium-protein diet that keeps your body from burning carbohydrates and burning ketosis for fuel, rather than glucose.

To get your body into ketosis, you need to consume less than 20-25 grams of carbs like natural whole foods.

The Keto Diet has historically been used to treat epilepsy, but recently gained popularity for its weight loss benefits.

Research is underway to determine if the keto diet has any benefits for patients with diabetes, Alzheimer's and stroke.

When you enter into a state of ketosis and ese, many people begin to lose their appetite and carbohydrates, they find that they can live longer without the need for food, and that is where intermittent fasting takes place. What is inter-caste fasting?
Many religions have been practicing fasting for thousands of years because it provides health and spiritual benefits. Recently, however, fasting has become more mainstream and there are ways to incorporate it into their daily lives.

Here are some ways you can use intermittent fasting (IF)

Eat Time - Here you eat all your calories for a certain amount of time. It can also change for 8 hours, 6 hours and 1 hour.

Fasting all day - this is where you fast for a few days a week

Alternate day fasting - This is where you limit your caloric intake to 500 calories a day.

Intermittent fasting forces your body to use all the energy it can; Start using glycogen and stored body fat in your muscles and liver instead.

This research has shown that cycling between regular caloric intake and subsequent intake is, in fact, a better way to lose weight over the long term than to continue eating for a long time.
Combined with both keto and intermittent fasting, these are excellent foods that can take your weight loss to another level. The following are some weight loss benefits of combining these foods;

* Increase in ketone production

* Good glucose control

* Increasing leptin helps keep you satisfied for longer

* Lack of appetite

* Low carb cravings

* Good ability to detect signs of hunger.

The reason why keto and intermittent fasting have become so popular lately is weight loss.

Besides the benefits of weight loss, there are many health benefits, some of which are;

* Metabolism improves health

* Reducing inflammatory markers

* Improves blood pressure and cholesterol

* Increased awareness

* Reduction in certain types of cancers

* Ability to reverse type 2 diabetes.

Additionally, some recent animal studies have shown that calorie restriction increases longevity and longevity, although this has not been investigated in humans.

How to get started
The best way to start combining two diets is to start one at a time. Both of these foods will have to implement some changes in your eating habits, and doing both at the same time can be overwhelming and lead to failure.

I'm already on Keto, and in my opinion, more changes are needed. When I get to the fat phase, my body naturally adapts to evening fasting and a late breakfast.

I eat whole foods and healthy fats. If I had less food, the food I was eating should be nutritious, with enough calories and enough fiber to keep me from constipation.

The surprising thing about IF is that your bedtime counts for your fasting hours.

I started with 12 hours and gradually increased to 18 hours. I stopped eating at 5pm and ate at 12am the next day.
Fasting time is not allowed so do not forget that there are calories in coffee with cream or milk. However, you can enjoy herbal tea in the evening or drink black coffee in the morning.

The most beneficial aspect of IF with Keto for me is the benefit of autophagy.

I felt my skin tighten around my belly and my baby was super stretched and loose after the birth of 5 big kids. In KTO and if it's OK:
You should have a good keto dinner at night, grass-fed burgers with some steak and salad or grilled vegetables and avocado at 5-6pm.

This meal will be up to you the next day, so reduce to high fat, moderate protein and carbs.

During your fast, you can take black tea, black coffee, water and some herbal teas.

You will naturally find that eating between 1 and 2 when you are on keto and IF is very common because your appetite is reduced but your energy levels go up!

If you find that you are still hungry, you can add snacks to your lunch windows like boiled eggs or avocado.
